I finally found time to paint some dated upholstered furniture I bought a few months ago. There is absolutely no need to be unhappy with the fabric on a piece of furniture any more! We can easily change it to our heart’s desire. This ottoman needed only two coats of Finish-All Paint to cover this outdated red, highly patterned print!
First coat.
Second and final coat.
Finish-All is a paint product made by Heirloom Traditions Paint Company. I ordered mine from their website heirloomtraditionspaint.com. It can be used on leather, upholstery, metal, wood, stone, vinyl, ceramic, canvas, outdoor fabric, plastic, glass, and much more! 😃
Ive got two wingback chairs still to paint, (not sure where I’m putting them :-)), to match this ottamon, the paint color is Farmhouse White. I’m excited about this new product with its fantastic coverage!
Happy decorating. Caprice~Cailin Design
am interested in the “feel” of the fabric after its been painted. Is it still soft to the touch or does it have a “harder” feel to it?

I haven’t sanded, as of yet, but I’m guessing it’s going to be “harder” than your everyday fabric.
