I’m blogging today in remembrance of my grandmother, Wilma Bettega, and her love of dishes. These are her Desert Rose dishes in which she set her table with every day! I stole them from my mother’s house to adorn my spring table! Since I decided to use roses in my living room I wanted to carry that same theme into my dining room, as well. The salad plates are not Desert Rose, but other dishes that my mother found and seem to be a perfect match. Mothers who like to share are a precious commodity whom I am VERY thankful for.  🙂
I’m still stuck on antlers…… 🙂
Components: Two types of garland, a moss table runner, roses, antlers, two moss spheres, metal candelabrum, leaf placemats and grass placemats. Â
Thanks, Wal-Mart, for the $2 roses.
Here’s to times gone by, wonderful grandmothers, pretty dishes and spring.
Happy decorating. Caprice~Cailin Design
Your Grandma Wilma would be SO proud to see what you have done with her Franciscan Desert Rose dishes! You have such an eye for putting together elements that I would never imagine, and it’s so beautiful!! Such an inviting tablescape, and so springy – I love it all!

My mom got those same dishes from my Grammie. I always thought that the flower was a pink dogwood bloom!
Your table looks terrific!
