I’ve had this angel in every home I’ve lived in since I’ve been an adult. Let’s see, that would be four homes with this angel being twenty-five years old.
Just like me, she’s showing a bit of wear. 🙂 This angel and I have been through twenty-five years of life together, some ups and some downs, some joys, some struggles. If she could talk, she would have happy, joyous stories and a few sad, disheartening stories to tell. She reminds me of times passed comprised of trials and challenges, as this life sometimes dishes out, while intertwined with a plethora of victories and joyous occasions. She’ll continue to go through this life, displayed in my home, witnessing everyday occurrences. I love visiting the past as I examine what’s happened over the last twenty-five years of my adult life. The past is a wonderful reference point to gage where we’ve been and where we’ve come. Do you have a piece in your home that’s been with you through it all?
