I found this golden rabbit at Tuesday Morning, recently, and decided to decorate our sunroom mantel with it. If we find an inspiration piece somewhere, whether it’s in a store or something we already have, we can actually decorate around it. We can decorate an ENTIRE room using an inspiration piece or just a small area, like my mantel. After this golden rabbit caught my attention, I knew I wanted to use gold and turquoise with some greenery to look springy!
I’ve incorporated fairy lights which I am LOVING! They look good about anywhere you stick them! I found these at ROSS during the Christmas season. The fairy light wire doesn’t stand out as much in real life.
Components of our spring mantel:
- Golden rabbit
- Metal/wood mirror
- Gold/Burlap Easter Sign
- 2 Moss wreaths
- Garland of greenery
- 4 Gold/turquoise plastic eggs
- 2 Brown candlesticks with candles
- 2 pots of grass
- Strand of fairy lights
I did get questioned by my oldest daughter about decorating so early for spring. Hey, I had the time to do it, my world is driven by TIME!
