My 1960 home is far from perfect and far from designer, but it sure feels good when I walk through the door in the evening. It says,”Welcome. Put your feet up. Relax.”. I have learned to love its flaws, its oddities, its strange peculiar characteristics. I think it’s important to find contentment in this life we live for our own sanity. My home is my safe place, my haven, my place of peace, despite its less than perfect design.
May we all find contentment with our homes and with all things, daily.
