Sometimes, due to circumstances beyond our control, we have VERY small spaces we have to deal with. We have to live in these spaces, make use of these spaces and be content with theses spaces. My blog today is about two very small spaces. One is a master bath and the other is a kitchen.
This is the bathroom off of my bedroom. The original owners, who were also the builders, converted a short hallway into a bathroom. I am so very thankful that they did! I bite my tongue every time I complain about its very small size, yearning for a large expansive master bathroom, ….. at least I have this.
A fabric shower curtain covers the glass door to the shower, which helps soften the look of the bathroom.
The built in cabinet provides storage. (Black paint was a mistake for the bathroom cabinet. It shows EVERYTHING! Never again.)
Kitchen:
This kitchen belongs to a friend of mine. It’s quite small, but wow, look at the impact these red cabinets have. This kitchen is in a farmhouse built before 1900. (The house is now in the middle of town because the town built up around it).
As we are faced with small spaces and the challenges they bring, we actually can make them functional and aesthetically pleasing, we just have to be a little more creative than usual.
Happy decorating. Caprice~Cailin Design
