Our Glam Bathroom Make-Over

For some reason I decided it was time to do a make-over on the bathroom that my kids use daily. It takes a beating, let me tell you! It’s been 14 years since I last painted the walls. 😳 I did have some tile put in, a few years ago, to replace the CARPET. Why do people put carpet in places that get wet? Anyway, I’m so glad I chose to do a make-over! My kids love it and so do I! And, yes, I should have done it years ago. So, the make-over simply consisted of a new paint color (gray) and new accessories! It feels like a brand new bathroom!

Colors: Gold, Pink, Gray— Okay, so my original blush idea turned bubble gum pink due to unavailability of products in my area. I could have ordered online, but I found this pink and loved it!

This photo just doesn’t do the gold shower curtain justice. It shimmers. 

I found this pretty fairy image on-line, printed it and framed it.  

This is my first panorama I’ve ever taken! I wanted you to see the bathroom in its entirety. Why in the world haven’t I been using this panorama setting all along?

I have brown accessories, such as this metal tray and lion head urn, I had previously used in this bathroom and wanted to keep using.  

Wal-Mart provided the soap dispenser and toothbrush holder.

Before:  This bathroom was looking drab and dated. And let’s not discuss the hairspray on the walls.

After:

A fresh coat of paint and a few new towels and accessories make this bathroom feel brand-new! Not a bad investment and my teenage daughters love the glamorous look!
