I don’t get too hung up on name-brand anything. It’s just not important to me. I like good design, period. My autumn tablescape is a combination of Hobby Lobby, Pier 1, J.C. Penny, Wal-Mart and Dollar General products. Everything was relatively inexpensive except the stemware, which was a gift from a good friend and the flatware which was a gift from my parents. The deer sheds came from Mother Nature herself. An interesting home doesn’t have to break the bank. The placemats were $2 each at Dollar General (attractive AND inexpensive …. SCORE)!
The fact is, lovely doesn’t have to equate to costly. We can beautify our homes on little $$. We just might have to be a little more creative.
