Although I wanted desperately to be a mermaid when I was a little girl, spending hours swimming, pretending I actually had a fish tail and, honestly, I do love the soothing aquamarine, turquoise, and bright Caribbean colors; I am anxiously awaiting the fall season. Bring on the cool temps, long shadows and the warm oranges and golds. My perfect fall day is a cool 62 degrees while wearing jeans, a hoodie and my clogs (not dancing clogs…. fashionable clogs!). Are they even still in style? I don’t know and I don’t care. Bring on FALL! Goodbye Summer…

There is something special about living in a place that has four distinct seasons. I enjoy all four; however, FALL, without a doubt, has my heart. It’s mid-August and I’ve already put out my first fall decor. Perhaps my haste will speed up fall’s arrival! 😉 Go ahead, it’s time to start decorating for FALL!
